Sheep Incident – Operation Hillman
Overnight, believed possibly
early hours of this morning (6/8/19), unknown offenders have entered a
field near to the Magna Park Roundabout on the A5 and killed then
butchered 8 lambs.
The vehicle used in the crime may have been parked near to the A5
for a while, possibly on Coalpit Lane or another road or layby nearby.
It is possible the offender(s) visited the location at a date
prior to today to see the layout of the field. If you have seen any
vehicles or people acting suspiciously in the last 2 or 3 weeks in this
area, have dash cam footage of vehicles that could be potentially linked
to the incident or have any information that could help the police with
their enquiries please call 101 and refer to inc 66 of 6/8/19 or email
in confidence to NorthWarksRuralAlerts@Warwickshire.pnn.police.uk.
If you own or live near livestock please be vigilant and if you see
any suspicious activity please call 101 or 999 if a crime is in progress
and quote ‘Operation Hillman’.
