A fire which destroyed approximately one hundred hay bales at East Farndon on Monday morning (March 2nd) was started deliberately Police have confirmed.
Harborough Road was closed through the village during the morning rush hour.
Officers are now appealing to the public for information about the arson attack – which happened sometime between 06.40 and 06.57 on Monday morning.
