Football: CRC wrap up Rugby and District Sunday League Veterans Division title

There is nothing like a few words of motivation to keep you going in anything you are doing or trying to achieve and I have had some interesting ones this week.

Rugby Borough jumped back to the top of the Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division table with a dominant 4-0 home win over Glenfield United.

A former pupil at Rugby High School is ‘coming home’ tonight (Friday) with a show as part of a national tour.

A hat-trick for Ethan Meadows helped Rugby Borough maintain their title push in the Premier Division of the Leicestershire Senior Football League as they beat Friar Lane and Epworth 6-0 at Kilsby Lane on Saturday.

This week’s round-up of the weekend’s action in the Rugby and District Sunday League is highlighted by Rugby Borough Royals heading back to the top of Division 1, The George winning the Daventry derby and CRC Vets moving a step closer to Veterans League title.
