Daventry District Council have announced temporary closures of local beauty Spots and parks. Their statement is below.
Daventry District Council;
In the light of the Government’s advice on social distancing for the Covid-19 virus and the increased need to ensure that members of the public comply with these measures, Daventry Country Park, Borough Hill, Cracks Hill, New Street Recreation Ground and public play areas in Daventry will be closed until further notice.
This decision has been taken in line with Northamptonshire’s other local authorities who will be introducing similar measures from this evening.
We would urge members of the public to adhere to these closures to ensure that the safety of all residents comes first during these unprecedented times.
