A slightly wet evening certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm for a hardy group of bikers who turned up at the inaugural bikers meet at Westy Triumph in Weedon this week.
Originally planned as a BBQ with refreshments and music, owner Andy Weston had taken the decision to postpone the main event until next Tuesday. However- word had already got out and Daventry Radio reporter Steve Edwards went along for the meet-and-greet and talk with the owners.

Westy Triumph moved to the area less than four months ago having established a thriving mechanic business in Woburn where they specialised in motorcycles and Land Rovers. Now relocated to Weedon Depot industrial area they have a new client base in an historical part of the area.
Owner Andy said, “We are looking to have a regular bikers event at 6pm on the first Tuesday of every month and it’s not just for bikers but anyone who has been a biker or just interested in motorcycling. We hope people will come along and enjoy looking at the bikes and meeting other biking enthusiasts.”
