In what proved to be some much-welcomed excitement today, a team from the Royal Logistic Corps Bomb Disposal unit descended on to Bodleian Close, Daventry earlier today.
Residents reported that the Police and RLC had been called as two items, believed to be WW2 hand grenades, had been found in one of the gardens.
