Uncategorized -

Joe Smooth released “Promised Land” in 87 and it became an instant underground house anthem. Notoriously covered by the Style Council in 89, the song has enjoyed constant and well earned praise for being one of the best house tunes ever made.

Our friends over at Muzikxpress sat down with Joe and asked him all about the tune, its origins and its legacy.

With thanks to Muzikxpress.
