Officers from Northamptonshire Police team today intervened to protect a 40 year old woman from a possible case of ‘Cuckooing’.
Commenting on Twitter, Sgt. Dobbs said, “Following concerns re cuckooing, intervention by Response Officers today has protected a 40 yr old woman and seen an uninsured vehicle linked to incident seized and removed from The Grange. We protect people who need it and target others who need our attention in a different way”
What is Cuckooing?
Cuckooing is a form of crime in which drug dealers take over the home of a vulnerable person in order to use it as a base for drug dealing
