Garden waste collection subscribers in the Daventry District area of West Northamptonshire are being reminded to renew the service for the 2021/22 season.

The annual subscription runs out at the end of May and the charge for the service from 1 June 2021 to 1 April 2022 is £35 per bin. Collections take place fortnightly with a small break over Christmas.

The fee is lower than it was last year because the subscription period only runs for ten months, and is the equivalent to that charged elsewhere in West Northamptonshire.

This allows next year’s subscription to start in April 2022, in-line with other garden waste schemes in operation across the West Northamptonshire Council area.

Residents can renew and pay the annual charge online using their debit or credit card by visiting www.westnorthantsnorse.co.uk

People are urged to renew by 14 May to ensure there is no disruption to their collections. Those who do not have a subscription at the moment but would like one from June are also encouraged to sign up by this time.

Once payment is processed, households will receive their new 2021/22 garden waste permit for sticking on their bin. Bins that do not show the new permit will not be emptied from June.
