Leaving items next to full charity collection banks like this is fly-tipping.
Many charities aren’t able to empty these banks at the moment, and piling bags next to them helps no one.
We realise recycling centres are closed, and that people are at home more and producing more waste than usual, but there is never any excuse to fly-tip.
Clearing it up costs money that could be better spent on vital services, and puts extra pressure on key workers such as waste and recycling staff.
Please do not have a clear out unless you have space to store the items you clear until services return to normal.
Fly-tipping is illegal and we will fine or prosecute anyone we find responsible.
If you witness any fly-tipping in Daventry District, please report it to us at https://selfserve.daventrydc.gov.uk/…/PrivacyStatement.aspx…
