Of the 10 weeks completed so far, this last week has been probably the most challenging.
There have been mitigating circumstances with a variety of coughs, chills and colds in the family all this week, and still lingering now. But thankfully not Covid again
Although I have not picked up anything so far, the energy levels have not been quite the same as in previous weeks (maybe I have picked up something?) and it has made a little lethargic, not my usual buoyant and energetic self for most of the past week.
That said, I have summoned up the energy and drive to get two gym sessions out of the four planned completed. And when you also factor in two swim sessions at my other usual regular venue, I suppose it hasn’t been bad, but not what I had hoped and planned for.
But you fight your way through it, and in many ways the extra sweat out has probably done me good by ridding me of any ills that may be lingering (I have to confess that there has been more coming off me than normal).
So, onto week 11 and the penultimate week.
