The worrying trend of Sheep robbery and illegal butchering has another case to answer.
Earlier this evening 5 ewes, all of which were heavy in lamb and due to give birth immently have been found dead in a field in Harpole.
On this occasion the gang were disturbed by a game keeper.
According to reports; all had their throats cut, two had been butchered and bagged up, one was hanging from a tree partly butchered and the other two were dead but unbutchered.
