Have your say on village conservation area reviews

Daventry News -

People are invited to give their views this summer on plans that aim to protect the heritage of three villages in Daventry District.

A series of consultations are being held by Daventry District Council (DDC) to seek the public’s feedback on Draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plans for Ashby St Ledgers, West Haddon and Crick.

The plans have been drafted by DDC as part of a wider review of the District’s conservation areas – areas considered worthy of preservation or enhancement because of their special architectural or historic interest.

In Ashby St Ledger’s the Plan seeks to improve and expand on the current Conservation Area, while in West Haddon and Crick there are proposals to introduce new Conservation Areas.

People are invited to view the Plans and have their say by visiting www.daventrydc.gov.uk/ConservationAreas

Printed copies of the plans along with details of how to respond are also available at Daventry District Council’s Lodge Road offices, and in libraries in Daventry, Long Buckby, Brixworth, Moulton and Woodford Halse.

The deadline for feedback is 5pm on Monday 4 November 2019.

Residents can also find out more at a series of drop-in sessions:
