Join in the Festive Treasure Trail and “Discover Daventry”

Daventry News -

Daventry Retail Forum is proud to announce the largest Treasure Trail around the town to date.  Following on from the success of “Find Biff” and “The Daventry Dragon” residents can now take part in the Festive Treasure Trail and be in with a chance of winning one of three Family Hampers wortha collective total of £750.

To take part all you have to do is grab a free entry form from any of the participating stores.  To find out who is taking part look out for the baubles(as pictured) in the shop windows.  Each store will have a unique festive image displayed somewhere, pop inside to find it and note it on your entry form.  Find as many as you can!!

Lorna White, Coordinator of the Daventry Retail Forum said “Our treasure hunts have proved very popular with families, providing hours of free entertainment whilst they discover clues around the town centre.  They are also popular with our retailers, giving them a chance to engage with new customers whilst raising awareness of the variety and number of independent shops we have in Daventry.

The trail starts on Saturday 16th November, which is the same day that Daventry Town Council switch on the new Christmas Lights, so some participating stores will be open until 8:00pm.  Entrants have until Sunday 8th December to complete the trail and return their completed form to any of the 43 stores participating. Good luck to all and have fun!
