It has been reported that a man has been tasered on the High Street in Daventry earlier this evening.
Responding to explain the heightened Police presence on the High Street, Sgt. Dobbs took to Twitter to say ‘Quick tweet to explain police activity on Daventry High St in last hour. This was pursuit and arrest of local man reported to be armed with a weapon and threatening shop staff in Bowen Walk. Followed on Daventry TC CCTV and red-dotted by Taser officers. Good teamwork all round’
