Fresh off the back of the nationwide success of Silent Screams, which received play on Kerrang Radio and the BBC, Millie Manders and the Shutup have announced their forthcoming single, Your Story, the second glimpse at their hugely anticipated album, Telling Truths, Breaking Ties. With a driving guitar riff, Millie’s astonishing vocal range and a pounding rhythm section, Your Story is urgent, anthemic and sees Millie and the guys of their punk crossover powers:

“Your Story was inspired by a short, intense relationship where I was, unfortunately, a rebound.
Having been very guarded, it took me a long time to allow this person in. They said all the right things, and I fell. That was when they decided they had “said it all too early”.
Watching their “stories” on social media and wishing I was still part of them inspired the chorus, the first part of the song to be written”, explains Millie.

With pre-orders for the limited-edition vinyl version of their album, Telling Truth, Breaking Ties, already stacking up, 2020 is the year Millie Manders and the Shutup’s enter the public consciousness in a big way.

Limited Edition Silent Scream Merchandise is now available  – £5 from each sale will go to both Mind and Papyrus , charities dedicated to helping people of all ages with mental health difficulties
