New Restrictions For Two Town Centre Car Parks

Two Privately owned Car Parks in Daventry Town Centre have seen new restrictions come into force.

Eagle-eyed daventry_life [Instagram and via Daventry and Surrounding Area Crimewatch Group on FaceBook] discovered signage advising of the new Two Hour limit last week at the Bowen Square Car Park and the New Street Car Park.

The new restrictions will be enforced 24 Hours a Day using ANPR cameras with fines of up to £100 for those overstaying.

Recap: Owners of two privately-owned Car Parks have introduced a maximum stay of two hours, they have not introduced charges! Daventry remains very Shopper-Friendly with sufficient Free parking alternatives.
