Northants Police have been extending their Christmas road safety campaign over the last few days including impromptu vehicle check sites set up by Daventry’s Response Team 4.
Police set up impromptu check point at an abandonded service station on the A45 opposite High March.
Northants police officers have tweeted pictures which show police vehicles stopping cars on the A45 at Daventry. The police Safer Roads Team reported that six more drivers have been charged with drink driving as a result of their campaign, including a 57-year-old Long Buckby woman.
