- Announcements - Sheeps Ear Found, Crick
A concerned Crick resident has made a gruesome discovery whilst out walking this morning.
Rebecca Brown was following a track by the community sports building on her way to some local woods when she discovered a severed sheeps ear with its tag still attached.
Unfortunately, the ear is still attached to the tag, its been cut off the animal, its a clean cut. The numbers on the tags are UK0104511 and on the reverse of the tag the number is 60890 which could also be 06809 (depending on which way up I hold the tag)
I can’t get through to DEFRA as their offices are closed. So I don’t really know what to do apart from ask the community. I’m very concerned given all the awful stuff that happened last year with lambs. Has someone stolen this lamb? Is anyone missing this animal?
