The festive spirit will soon be in full-swing in Daventry, with a Christmas Market taking place on Saturday 16th November. From 4pm to 8pm, a selection of stalls will line the High Street selling unique gifts and crafts, plus plenty of festive food and drink to sample as you shop for Christmas presents.
Organised by Daventry Town Council, the market will also coincide with the switch on of the town’s new Christmas lights, with musical accompaniment from the Rock Choir singing some Christmas classics.
Mayor of Daventry Cllr Mike Arnold said, “We are looking forward to lighting up Daventry with the colourful new lights we have chosen for the town, and hope the community enjoy welcoming in the festive season with us at this special event.”
To help you tick a few more names off your Christmas list, on Saturday 16th a selection of your favourite Daventry shops will also be open until 8pm for late night shopping. Look out for more details around town in the run up to the event.
