A Weedon village pub is doing its part in helping to combat loneliness in their community this year.
The Narrow Boat Pub on the A5 at Weedon have made a table for four available on Christmas day at 11.45am and are asking the Weedon community to nominate anyone who is going to be on their own this Christmas for a seat at the table. Pub owners have taken to Facebook offering a full three-course meal and drinks which will be laid on with their compliments.
On the Weedon village Facebook page, pub manager, Richard Anthony said, “We need you to nominate someone you know, who deserves to be around others this Christmas.” Contact @narrowboatweedon on Facebook if you know someone you’d like to nominate or call Ed on 01327 340333.
